FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FIRST ANNUAL GRAND LAKE RALLY
Join us for the thrill of the ride. Plan to travel the 1,300 miles of shoreline around Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Northeast Oklahoma, the foothills of the Ozarks. You’ll ride by some of the most scenic locations touring on motorcycle friendly roads, enjoying inviting communities and great people.
There will be ample opportunities to take advantage of the many attractions the four-county region has to offer. Travel along historic Route 66 Ribbon Road from Miami to Afton. A stop in Miami at the Route 66 Vintage Iron Motorcycle Museum & Super Store is a must. Then in Afton, you can visit Darryl Starbirds Custom Car Museum then travel to the renovated vintage Afton Station & Route 66 Packard Showroom. Numerous wineries, museums and biker friendly businesses along route will keep you “feed and watered”.
A rally isn’t complete without great music and this one promises to keep you entertained. Various bands will be performing throughout the weekend and on Saturday the rally will feature Molly Hatchet in concert.
Also on Saturday plan to take part in the “Big Bucks” Poker Run. Besides the Poker Run and guided rides, the Heartland Classic Keels, Wheels & Wings 15th Annual Classic Boat, Bike & Car Show and Warbird Fly-In will be taking place at the South Grand Regional Airport and Arrowhead Yacht Club.
Great rides, games, a bike display, motorcycle exhibitors, a leather fashion show, and other events are being planned. Circle the dates and join us at the First Annual Grand Lake Rally.
