Lendonwood Gardens, a six-acre botaniacal garden near Grand Lake, offers a constantly changing panorama of year-round beauty.  Six distinctive garden areas form the backdrop for botanical collections ranging from rhododendrons and azaleas to daylilies and conifer trees, and many others.  Among these "outdoor rooms," the Angel of Hope Statue Garden features a bronze angel statue offering a serene place for remembering lost loved ones. Other highlights include a Japanese Pavilion overlooking a scenic koi pond, cascading stream with waterfalls, and a glass conservatory with waterfall.

Open to wisitors from dawn to dusk all year, Lendonwood also provides a beautiful setting for weddings and other special events.  The Gardens are home to several annual events, including the Art in the Gadens celebration, Earth Day Program, Community Open House, and the Angel of Hope Remembrance Ceremony on December 6.  Lendonwood is a non-profit organization supported by volunteers and donations.  No admission charge is required, but a $5 donation per person is suggested for continued maintenance.
