We are a nonprofit group of private citizens that live
and work in the Lake Hudson Area. Our all-volunteer membership includes
home and land owners, business owners, employees of local utility

agencies. We believe that only second to it's people Mayes County's
greatest asset is Lake Hudson, (a 12,000-acre recreational water park
with 200 miles of shoreline).

Jim's been guiding on Grand Lake full time for 26 years. He fishes
Spoonbill 7 months of the year. The Spoonbill is also known as a
Paddlefish because of it spoon shaped snout. Jim has 100% success rate
on spoonbill.
Jim also fishes for White Bass in the rivers during the spring and in
the lake the rest of the year.
When it comes to Catfish, Jim fishes not only with hook and line but
loves to put out jugs. It's a GREAT way to catch a lot of fish. People
like to have big family fish fries. Grand Lake Catfish are some of the
best eating in the country.

Catfish and Spoonbill trips are slightly higher.
We furnish all tackle and lures (if needed), soft drinks, water, and
clean your fish (except Black Bass). Black bass is "catch and release"
except for a trophy.
I can also get you a little discount on a room at Martin Landing if you
book with our guide service during the week!
We try to put out new brush piles weekly for new fish habitat.
